“Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His mercy endures forever” (Psalm 118:1). We are grateful, Lord for everyday blessings You bestow upon us. May we never forget to praise You for air in our lungs, food on our tables, eyes to view yet another sunrise and the priceless gift of our salvation. We rejoice over the good reports we have witnessed this week goo health, Your provisions for our lives, the joy that grandchildren bring to so many of us; and your unending love for each of us.
Forgive us Father, when we are distracted and become detached from Your guidance for our lives. May we be reminded daily of the authority that we have as Your children –“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). Forgive us when we falter and fail You, Lord.
Continue, Lord, to anoint and bless our lives and ministry to a lost world. Teach us more about You and Your ways each day. Purpose in our hearts to be intercessors for one another. Bring a cure, speedily, for cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Remain near to us during challenging times. Restore relationships through forgiveness and hope.
May our lives reflect Your love to each person we encounter. May our words reflect Your Words in our daily speech. May our actions always mimic Your actions. May we praise You through each storm.
