A Checklist for Christian Behavior

I have been reading and meditating on the book of Romans. I encountered this passage today and realized what a terrific set of guidelines it is for God's people. Imagine if the world's people would take these instructions to heart and obey them - what a difference we would witness in our day to day lives. Please take a minute to review these points of advice to see what areas demand improvement in your own lives. I plan to do the same.

--Let love be without hypocrisy
--Abhor what is evil
--Cling to what is good
--Be kindly affectionate to one another
--Rejoice in hope
--Be patient in tribulation
--Continue steadfastly in prayer
--Distribute to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality
--Bless those who persecute you
--Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep
--Be of the same mind toward one another
--Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble
--Do not be wise in your own opinion
--Repay no one evil for evil
--If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men
--Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good

I love this reminder, and may just send it winging its way into a few other hearts today. Thank you.
