Colors of Autumn

Last weekend we enjoyed a short weekend trip with our dear friends, Mark and Dawn, to the Brown County area. We visited the quaint shopping village of Nashville and the Brown County State Park. Fall foliage is just beginning to change colors, as shown in these photographs.

I especially loved this photo, where the trees and the clouds are reflected in the lake water.

"In the other gardens

And all up the vale,

From the autumn bonfires

See the smoke trail!

Pleasant summer over

And all the summer flowers,

The red fire blazes,

the grey smoke towers.

Sing a song of seasons!

Something bright in all,

Flowers in the summer

Fires in the fall! "
