Update: February 11, 2009

I finished my IVIG infusion yesterday after 9 1/2 hours. That was a loooooong day. I am grateful that I did not have any serious reactions. I remain very nauseated from the new antifungal I am taking. Last night my doctor said it could be another week before the lab provides the drug sensitivities on the mold to us. For the time being, I will remain on this antifungal until the sensitivities become available.

Please pray for God to be clear and precise in His guidance for me as I contemplate the next chemotherapy protocol to use. This decision is too difficult for me to make on my own and I know He will not forsake me.

A New Beginning: What Must I Do To Be Saved?

This is the most important question anyone will ever ask. First, you must realize that you are lost. When Adam and Eve committed the first sin, man broke relationship with God. From this time forward, everyone was born with a sinful nature. So it does not matter how good of a person you are, you are lost. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Secondly, you must realize that the consequence of sin is death. Not just a physical death, but a spiritual death, too. The Bible says in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Next, you must realize that God loves YOU so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to die and pay the price for your sins. You must openly accept the free gift from God to confirm your believe in Jesus by openly confessing your faith in Jesus. The Bible says in I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." In order to be promised eternal live in Heaven, you must believe these things and confess them with your mouth.
