Almighty God,
We worship You, Lord, in spirit and in truth. We rejoice at the mention of Your Name. We are forever grateful for the way that You remain consistent in a world full of upheaval and turmoil. We exalt You and worship You, because You are holy. Thank You for the richness and truth of Your Word, Lord. I cannot imagine my life without Your Word. Because I know, that Your Word is not merely a compilation of letters. John 1:1 reminds us that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
If our hearts, words, and lives have dishonored You or Your Word this week, forgive us, Lord. James 4:8 is clear in its teaching – “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” If we approach God with requests, He will draw near to us – but, first, we must purify our hearts and minds.
Abba Father, You are our Helper and Healer. Conquer these infections that I am battling. Touch our daughter Stephanie's eye and the infection that she has. Guide the doctors tomorrow as the inject antibiotics into this area. Clear it quickly for her.
I cannot imagine life without You, God. You have never abandoned me in my darkest hours. I know and believe and trust that You are not going to abandon us now, in the midst of fiery trials and tribulations.
In Your Precious Name I pray, Amen.
