My doctor just e-mailed me. Thus far the blood cultures are negative. The fungal and bacterial cultures from the biopsy are negative. These are not final reports but she said they are encouraging. But these reports also take us back to not knowing what is going on with the skin lesion on my leg.
There was not enough of the biopsy sample to be sent for pathology, so it looks like I will have to be re-biopsied. I will see the Infectious Disease doctor in Indianapolis tomorrow. Maybe he will have a suggestion. I am curious if the leukemia could be infiltrating my skin?
